I introduce to you our second Madden 12 Offensive guide of the year!

Like every year, it's all about Schemes. There is no fluff in this playbook, as we take you straight to the core money plays, schemes and money routes that this game has to offer. Ever since Madden 06, we have been bringing you the most simple, effective, and dynamic Offensive schemes to the game. They're simple to run, easy to remember, easy to disguise, and constantly keep your opponents guessing wrong.

Why Run Heavy, you ask? I've always been a fan of Strong: I - Twin TE, so I decided to take a look at this playbook. Not only did it have some of my past favorite plays (ex. Counter Weak and Power O), but it actually has a Counter to the strong side (Counter Lead), and that blew my mind. I also wanted to make sure that there was enough good passing plays in the book as well, which there was. Singleback: Bunch is in the playbook, and Shotgun: Wing Trips blows my mind. The passing plays I broke down in Strong: I Twin TE and I-Form: Tight are phenomenal as well. Therefore passing out of this playbook should never be a problem, and you have the best running formations and plays in the whole game.

The passed few years, I've become more of a "run first" type player. You have a better chance of winning being a run-first person who can then adapt and switch to an aerial offense than a pass-first person who then has to resort to trying to run the ball to keep the lead or get back into a game. Because of this logic, I've made my offense more two-dimensional rather than one, and in the end it makes you more consistent. It's hard enough to run the ball in Madden NFL 12 as compared to the previous years. That's why I broke down this playbook. It will give you the extreme edge when running the ball, and surprisingly it contains many excellent passing plays.

What is the purpose of this guide?

The purpose of this guide is to make you a better player at Madden NFL, whether you play real people, or against the CPU, whether online, or offline. These strategies are all game-play related, which means they deal with mainly the aspects of play-calling, play-adjustment, and play-execution.

What does this guide consist of?

This guide mainly consists of Schemes. A Scheme, by definition is a "systematic plan of action", and an "orderly combination of related parts". In other words, we define a scheme as 2-3+ plays out of the same formation which we use as a systematic plan of action. We teach you how to adjust it, optimize it, when to switch plays, and how to beat most of the defenses someone could run against you with it.

Can I use this strategy guide with any team? Why does it have a team name?

The strategy guides that you find here can be used with any team you like. The reason these strategy guides have names of teams such as "Houston" is because we used the offensive playbook that naturally belongs to that team in the game. You can use any team's playbook with any team. You can pick the playbook you like at the team-picking screen. The reason we break down team playbooks is for variety. We try to break down what we think is the best and most balanced playbooks in the whole game, that way you can have those great plays at your advanatage so that you can be as competitive as possible.

Is this guide for competitive, experienced Madden players, or for the casual/newbie gamer?

The guide is for both. We pride in making tough concepts simple. We also hold our strategy to the highest standards to which they can be essential in very competitive situations.

Is this the typical "glitch" and "exploit" guide that I always see?

No. There is no glitches or game-exploitation in any of our products. Everything in our products is consistent with realistic football strategy.
