![]() Madden 12 "PHI" 4-3 Based Defensive Strategy Guide w/ 5-2 Scheme For: Madden NFL 12 on XBOX360 & Playstation 3 Edited & Produced by: MaddenPlayers.com based on: PHI - Defensive Playbook Guide F.A.Q.NEW I
introduce to you our second Madden
12
Defensive
guide of the year.
For all of my 4-3 enthusiasts,
and those who want to be different and run the 5-2 defense this
year, as well as those who just love to learn all of the best Madden
defenses from all of the formations and playbooks, this guide is for
you.
Why the PHI Defensive playbook? Well, as you can see from the subtitle of the banner, this is a "4-3 Based defensive guide". Here at MaddenPlayers, we like to touch on all of the main defenses in our strategy guides. So instead of just breaking down the 4-3 playbook, we decided to breakdown a playbook that has all of the best 4-3 formations, as well as the 5-2: Normal formation. 5-2: Normal is absolutely great this year, with a couple of 3 man rush overload blitzes, A-gap heat, and a double overload blitz coming from the left B-Gap and the right edge. You can also utilize most of this stuff in the TB, GB, and any other playbook that has 5-2: Normal in it. And of course, you can always create your own Custom Playbook and add anything you want in there. 4-3: Under is also amazing this year. This is our second Featured Scheme in the guide. It's was a combination of 4-3: Under and 5-2: Normal that made us want to break down a 4-3 based playbook before we did a 3-4 based one. We have a 7 play scheme out of the 4-3: Under, as well as one play where we built a whole scheme into itself that I know you guys will really love. We've optimized it to the point where we can overload either side with a 4 or 5 man rush, or both sides with a 6 man rush, all with the same disguisable setup. And with a couple coverage adjustments, it's pretty much all we need to defend the pass. Quote:

purpose of this
guide is to make you a better player at Madden NFL,
whether you play real people, or against the CPU, whether online, or
offline. These strategies are all game-play related, which means they
deal with mainly the aspects of play-calling, play-adjustment,
and play-execution.
What does this guide consist of? This
guide mainly
consists of Schemes. A Scheme,
by definition is a "systematic
plan of action", and an "orderly
combination of related parts".
In other words, we define a scheme as 2-3+ plays out of the same
formation which we use as a systematic plan of action. We teach you how
to adjust it, optimize it, when to switch plays, and how to beat most
of the defenses someone could run against you with it.
Can I use this strategy guide with any team? Why does it have a team name? The
strategy guides
that you find here can be used with any
team you like. The reason these
strategy guides have names of teams such as "PHI" is because we
used the Defensive playbook that naturally belongs to that team in the
game. You can use any team's playbook with any team. You can pick the
playbook you like at the team-picking screen. The reason we break down
team playbooks is for variety. We try to break down what we think is
the best and most balanced playbooks in the whole game, that way you
can have those great plays at your advanatage so that you can be as
competitive as possible.
Is this guide for competitive, experienced Madden players, or for the casual/newbie gamer? The guide is for both. We pride in making tough concepts simple. We also hold our strategy to the highest standards to which they can be essential in very competitive situations. Is this the typical "glitch" and "exploit" guide that I always see? No. There is no glitches or game-exploitation in any of our products. Everything in our products is consistent with realistic football strategy. What is the difference between your guides, and all the other competitors? Our
motto can be summed up in three words: Concise, Madden, Strategy.
The
concepts and strategies that we teach in our guides are thorough, yet
straight to the point. We don't want to waste your time with endless
reading or listening, but to simply show you how to best run each play
and get you winning consistently as soon as possible.
